Maxima Frecuencia is a Regional Mexican Band that was founded in 2018 in Santa Rosa, California. The band is especially known for playing Sierreño which is a subgenre within the realm of Regional Mexican music. It is characterized by its distinctive trio format, featuring three main instruments: the 12-string acoustic guitar, 6 string guitar as well as tuba and bass. Originating in the northern regions of Mexico, it has gained widespread popularity for its storytelling ability, often weaving tales of love, heartbreak, rural life and even joyful melodies that make you get up and dance! Due to the popularity of this style of Regional Mexican music the band stays busy performing at private events as well as public events all over Northern California.
