John Courage began decades ago as a project to span musical genres and bring in influences from across the songwriting world. He has been honing his skills as a songwriter, guitarist and producer for over 10 years in the music communities of Northern California, with stints in the Pacific Northwest and the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Now entering the 16th year as steadfast local stalwarts, a sound has been carved over time and honed across rock n’ roll, blues, country and singer songwriter Americana. With a flair for vintage inspired rock n’ roll that takes cue from the Texas singer songwriter scene of the 70’s, John Courage creates a sound that at once feels familiar yet urgent. “Courage’s California Country” is a special set with a super star lineup playing a fun set of country classics with California roots!
