Dan Imhoff’s music offers an antidote for our troubled times. For over two decades, he has been performing and recording in Northern California. Imhoff’s latest project features an ensemble of extraordinary musicians from Spain, where he has been living part-time since 2018. His original songs weave elements of folk, jazz, pop and blues with lush vocal harmonies, virtuosic musicianship and colorful storytelling.
About Imhoff’s fifth solo album, “Gratitude,” released in 2022, music critic John Moore wrote: “Coming together after more than a year of worldwide social isolation, ‘Gratitude’ is the definition of a global effort — written in California, recorded in Spain and mastered in Berlin.” His previous albums include “Fat of the Land,” “Agraria,” “Owl Country” (with Yvette Holzwarth), “Lucky Stars,” “Philosophy,” (with Cahoots), and “Peregrino.”
