Since 1973, Sonoma County Farm Trails has produced this sweet country fair and music festival, our primary annual fundraiser, every August during peak Gravenstein season. A core part of Farm Trails’ mission is to foster an appreciation of local agriculture, and we hope you’ll be as awed and inspired as we are by our esteemed farmers and producers and by the collective wisdom, skills, insight, experience, and expertise they bring to presentations and demos, as well as by the diverse, delicious, and nourishing foods and libations they share.
The heart of the Fair is first and foremost the celebrated heirloom, intimately tied to our region and praised by horticulturist Luther Burbank as the most exceptional apple of all for flavor and versatility. We encourage you to take advantage of this fleeting seasonal window to sample and purchase fresh apples, pies, juice, cider, fritters, caramel apples, and more.
Every year we curate a stellar lineup of musicians, artists, crafters, chefs, farmers, ranchers, and artisan producers, and we’re confident that the Gravenstein Apple Fair offers something compelling for all ages and palates.
We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to connect with community in the magnificent Ragle Ranch grove that we’re so fortunate to inhabit on August 12th and 13th.
We think the Gravenstein Apple Fair is a true treasure, and we invite you to experience the sweetness!
Know that the dollars you spend directly contribute to local farmers, artists, crafters, musicians, chefs, service providers, community groups, and to Sonoma County Farm Trails’ programs in service of local agriculture.
