Everyone knows the story of peanut butter and chocolate – when two great tastes come together, deliciousness happens. In Sonoma County, two great traditions and tastes, Seismic Brewing Company and Golden State Cider, came together under one roof in May 2022 to form Sonoma Craft.
Committed to Sustainability
Both Seismic Brewing and Golden State Cider share a love of Sonoma County and a commitment to sourcing malted grains for beer and apples for cider, from California to reduce their carbon footprint and support the communities where they live, work, and play. Both organizations also share a belief in the importance of sustainability as a core bedrock principle underlying every can of beer or cider they produce. Together, Seismic Brewing and Golden State Cider continue to pursue sustainable farming, packaging, water, and energy management practices with a focus on, as Seismic puts it, “be(ing) a positive, creative force within the brewing community and our local community; giving more than we take.” (Source: https://www.seismicbrewingco.com/#/)
Showcasing Local Flavors

Oh yeah, let’s not forget, their beers and ciders also taste FANTASTIC! Whether it’s a light lager, like Tremor, or their new line of beers that includes several chewier IPAs, a pilsner, or a red lager, Seismic Brewing Company’s got you covered. Or if you’re more of a cider person who’s looking for 100% fresh cold-pressed apples, Golden State Cider will be pouring their Mighty Dry for fairgoers.
Partnership with the Gravenstein Apple Fair

Given their love of and commitment to Sonoma County, it’s no surprise that Seismic Brewing and Golden State Cider are sponsors of the Gravenstein Apple Fair; a favorite local event that’s often known as “the sweetest little Fair in Sonoma County.” Like Seismic Brewing Company and Golden State Cider, the Fair is known for prioritizing sustainability after being awarded the first-ever Sonoma County Green Resolution in 2022.
Focusing on preserving agriculture and farmers forever in Sonoma County is the north star of the Gravenstein Apple Fair and its parent organization Farm Trails. Golden State Cider shares a similar mission as they state, “Our goal is to keep apple trees in the ground… We want to celebrate the rich heritage and apple diversity across the west coast by continuing to use 100% fresh pressed west coast apple juice. This is our why… This is what we stand by in everything we do.” (Source: https://www.drinkgoldenstate.com/about.html)
The Fair is known, just like Seismic Brewing Company and Golden State Cider, as the source of great flavors, a commitment to California agriculture, and an incredibly fun time!
